Gloria’s Bread Pudding

Gloria’s Bread Pudding

17 slices light bread
2 ½ cups of sugar
1 ½ stick butter, melted and cooled
4 ½ cups milk
4 eggs

Preparing Directions
Tear bread, crust included into small pieces. Melt butter in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Cool slightly. Add other ingredients and mix well with butter. Add bread and stir lightly. Make sure all of the bread is wet. Bake at 350 (degrees) for 30 minutes.

Mix together until smooth:
1 stick butter, melted and cooled
1 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla (I use a little more!)
3 eggs
Pour over pudding, sprinkle with cinnamon (I use a lot of cinnamon) and bake another 20-23 minutes.

Decadent caramel vanilla topping
Brown ½ cup of sugar slowly until deep caramel color.
Add these slowly, stirring constantly until well mixed:
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons of butter
¼ cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon of vanilla

Cook over low heat about five minutes until desired thickness.
