Mrs. Helen’s Million Dollar Pound Cake
3 cups sugar
4 cups cake flour
1/4 cup seet milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon lemon extract or other flavoring
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time alternately with flour, milk, vanilla and lemon extract. Bake in greased floured 10-inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 90 minutes or longer.
