Our Story

Clinic owner Matt Jackson obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 1993. He opened the doors of Lonoke Physical Therapy in May 1995. He and his wife Zan, opened their satellite clinic, ProMotion Physical Therapy, in North Little Rock in January of 2015. Both Arkansas natives, Matt grew up in Little Rock and Zan grew up in Hermitage. Zan earned her Associate of Applied Science as a PTA at the University of Central Arkansas and is also certified in WorkSTEPS® employment testing.

Matt Jackson

Owner, CEO, and treating staff member, Matt obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 1993. He opened the doors of Lonoke Physical Therapy in May 1995. He and his wife Zan opened their second clinic, ProMotion Physical Therapy, in North Little Rock in January 2015. Matt is a certified WorkSteps® provider and is also certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction (BFR).

When Matt gets a few hours away from the clinic, you can find him camping or rock crawling in his Jeep. He grew up in Little Rock and enjoys traveling to Moab, UT as his ultimate Jeeping experience. If given only one meal to eat for the rest of his life, Matt said he’d have to go with steak. His favorite quote? “The only bad question is the one not asked.” His favorite thing about Lonoke and ProMotion Physical therapy is running and managing the business and working with patients.

Zan Jackson

Zan grew up in Hermitage, AR in Bradley County and received her education at the University of Central Arkansas. While there, she obtained her Associate of Applied Science as a PTA. She is also certified in WorkSTEPS® employment testing. On any given weekend, you can find her tinkering around the house or at church. She also enjoys camping, Jeeping, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. One of her favorite Bible verses is, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14. When vacationing, she likes to travel with Matt to Moab, UT. Something you might not know about Zan? She plays the piano and organ and she is a 13-year+ cancer survivor. If she could have any ability, she would love to be able to sing and have it sound good, ha! Her favorite part about Lonoke and ProMotion Physical Therapy? “Working with a great group of people and watching patients progress and get results.”

Kelli was born and raised in Lonoke, where she now lives with her husband and two boys. Kelli is our Executive Director. She is your contact person for questions, concerns, or comments regarding your overall experience at our clinics. She loves playing with her boys, whether it be Nerf gun wars, Nintendo games, or hiking and swimming in the creek. Her favorite Scripture is, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings Salvation to everyone who believes, first the Jew and then the Gentile.” Romans 1:16. If she could travel anywhere, it would be to “The Mountain,” a little slice of paradise with her family. If she had to eat only one thing for the rest of her life, it would be green bean casserole, and she absolutely can’t resist Dr. Pepper. Kelli is happiest when she is at church and with her family. Her top three life highlights include the day she accepted Jesus as her Savior, the day she married her husband, and the birth of her children. When asked what her favorite part of working here is, Kelli said, “The patients. I love being a part of them getting better, getting to know them, and getting to serve my community.”

Mario lived in Mexico until he was six years old when he and his family moved to Lonoke, where his immediate family still resides. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas and holds certifications in both dry needling and WorkSTEPS®. In his free time, you can find him playing outdoor soccer or watching it on TV and spending quality time with his wife and family. His favorite place to travel is San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico and if he had to choose just one meal to eat for the rest of his life it would be pizza and fries. His top life highlights include marrying his best friend, being a first-generation college graduate, and passing his PT boards. His favorite thing about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy is the calm, relaxed, and fun environment that all Lonoke Physical Therapy employees create.

Cody Schaff

Cody graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in History. In 2019, he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCA. On the weekends, you can find him hanging out with his wife Shelby and their family watching football or playing disc golf. He also enjoys running, hiking, fishing and hunting when he gets the chance. Cody grew up in West Monroe, LA, and loves to travel anywhere with a mountain range. He’s is an avid New Orleans Saints fan — “Who Dat?” — and being from Louisiana, he’s learned a few things in the kitchen and can cook some amazing creole dishes, thanks to his Grannie! Cody is a country music fan and absolutely cannot resist sweets – of any kind. (It’s a problem, really!) His favorite part about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy? “The people. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. It has a small-town feel that I love.”

Caleb Marsh

Caleb was born in Valdosta, GA but grew up in Hot Springs, AR. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Arkansas State University and holds WorkSTEPS® and dry needling certifications. On weekends, he enjoys hiking, going to the gym, hanging out with his friends, and playing video games. He currently resides in Little Rock but really enjoys traveling to Florida. Caleb’s favorite food is pizza, and he can’t resist a Dr. Pepper. You might not know these three things about him: he’s lived in four states, has had gray hair since birth, and once threw a bullpen session for Major League Baseball scouts. Caleb’s fondest life highlights include graduating PT school, meeting one of his favorite DJs, and going on a 10-day road trip where he visited 14 states and slept in his car the entire trip. His favorite thing about working at ProMotion Physical Therapy is getting to know his patients and improving their quality of life, getting them back to the things they enjoy.

Tom grew up in Jonesboro, AR, and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arkansas State University where his dad is a professor.  He is also certified in WorkSTEPS® providing functional employment testing, safety, environmental, and occupational health services here at Lonoke Physical Therapy. Tom’s family is from Chicago, his favorite place to visit. When not in the clinic Tom enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, working out, hiking, and watching sports and has run a half-marathon once. His favorite food is steak & fries and often shares this quote, “Small steps in the right direction are better than big steps in the wrong direction.” Tom’s favorite part about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy is getting to know all the patients that come through the clinic.

Courtney was born and raised in England, AR where she resides now with her husband, Jeff, and two children. When not at work, you might find her baking up delicious cookies, cakes, and cupcakes in the kitchen. Patients at ProMotion often enjoy the sweet treats she brings in! Courtney and her family enjoy unwinding and watching movies together. Her favorite travel destinations are Orange Beach, AL, and Branson, MO. If she had to choose one food to eat for the rest of her life, Courtney said, “It would definitely be pizza! No, wait, Mexican. Maybe Mexican pizza?” If she could have any ability she wanted, she would choose to shield children from any kind of sadness. When asked what her favorite part about working at ProMotion was, she said, “It’s absolutely the patient interaction. I love to put a smile on someone’s face. You never know if you will be the only one to make that person smile that day.”

Magen grew up in Cabot, AR, and married her husband, David. They have two children, a daughter who plays travel softball (on the 2021 National Championship winning team!) and a son who loves the lake and riding jet skis. In her free time, you can find her camping, going out on the lake, or riding four-wheelers. Her favorite travel destination? Greers Ferry Lake. If given only one meal to eat for the rest of her life, she would most definitely choose tacos! Magen loves country music and just cannot resist Coca-Cola. If she could have any ability in this world, she would love to be able to fly. When asked what is her favorite part of working at ProMotion Physical Therapy, Magen said, “I love getting to meet new people.”

A self-proclaimed “good book” nerd, Ashley grew up in East End, AR and graduated from high school in Sheridan, AR where she ran hurdles for the track team. She loves spending time with her family, reading books, and listening to any kind of music except old country. If she had to eat one meal for the rest of her life it would be chicken alfredo or pizza but she also can’t resist a bowl of ice cream! Her favorite state to travel to is Florida and says about working for Lonoke Physical Therapy, “I like helping people but I LOVE meeting all the new patients!”

A native of Lonoke, Becky has over 30 years of medical experience. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage or billing concerns, she’s always happy to assist. Becky loves to spend time with her grandkids and hang out in her backyard in her free time. Her favorite vacation destination is Panama City Beach, FL. If she had to choose just one meal to eat for the rest of her life, she would have to go with steak and shrimp. Her favorite quote? “Oh well!” Becky’s top three life highlights include the day each of her grandkids were born, Michael, Jodi, and Bryce. Her favorite part about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy? Great coworkers!
