Our Story

Clinic owner Matt Jackson obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 1993. He opened the doors of Lonoke Physical Therapy in May 1995. He and his wife Zan, opened their satellite clinic, ProMotion Physical Therapy, in North Little Rock in January of 2015. Both Arkansas natives, Matt grew up in Little Rock and Zan grew up in Hermitage. Zan earned her Associate of Applied Science as a PTA at the University of Central Arkansas and is also certified in WorkSTEPS® employment testing.

Owner, CEO, and treating staff member, Matt obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in 1993. He opened the doors of Lonoke Physical Therapy in May 1995. He and his wife Zan opened their second clinic, ProMotion Physical Therapy, in North Little Rock in January 2015. Matt is a certified WorkSteps® provider and is also certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction (BFR).

When Matt gets a few hours away from the clinic, you can find him camping or rock crawling in his Jeep. He grew up in Little Rock and enjoys traveling to Moab, UT as his ultimate Jeeping experience. If given only one meal to eat for the rest of his life, Matt said he’d have to go with steak. His favorite quote? “The only bad question is the one not asked.” His favorite thing about Lonoke and ProMotion Physical therapy is running and managing the business and working with patients.

Zan Jackson

Zan grew up in Hermitage, AR in Bradley County and received her education at the University of Central Arkansas. While there, she obtained her Associate of Applied Science as a PTA. She is also certified in WorkSTEPS® employment testing. On any given weekend, you can find her tinkering around the house or at church. She also enjoys camping, Jeeping, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. One of her favorite Bible verses is, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my Strength, my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14. When vacationing, she likes to travel with Matt to Moab, UT. Something you might not know about Zan? She plays the piano and organ and she is a 13-year+ cancer survivor. If she could have any ability, she would love to be able to sing and have it sound good, ha! Her favorite part about Lonoke and ProMotion Physical Therapy? “Working with a great group of people and watching patients progress and get results.”

Mario lived in Mexico until he was six years old when he and his family moved to Lonoke, where his immediate family still resides. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas and holds certifications in both dry needling and WorkSTEPS®. In his free time, you can find him playing outdoor soccer or watching it on TV and spending quality time with his wife and family. His favorite place to travel is San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico and if he had to choose just one meal to eat for the rest of his life it would be pizza and fries. His top life highlights include marrying his best friend, being a first-generation college graduate, and passing his PT boards. His favorite thing about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy is the calm, relaxed, and fun environment that all Lonoke Physical Therapy employees create.

Cody graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in History. In 2019, he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCA. On the weekends, you can find him hanging out with his wife Shelby and their family watching football or playing disc golf. He also enjoys running, hiking, fishing and hunting when he gets the chance. Cody grew up in West Monroe, LA, and loves to travel anywhere with a mountain range. He’s is an avid New Orleans Saints fan — “Who Dat?” — and being from Louisiana, he’s learned a few things in the kitchen and can cook some amazing creole dishes, thanks to his Grannie! Cody is a country music fan and absolutely cannot resist sweets – of any kind. (It’s a problem, really!) His favorite part about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy? “The people. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. It has a small-town feel that I love.”

Jakob, a Conway native, graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August of 2022. He is training in the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy fellowship program. He enjoys spending time with family and going to sporting events. As a lover of the outdoors, you can find him mountain biking, hiking, camping, or working in the yard in his spare time.

His top three highlights in life include his son being born, his wedding day, and graduating from UCA. Jakob is happiest when he is relaxing at home after working hard to accomplish something. He became interested in PT after rehabbing hip and leg injuries in high school. When asked what is favorite part about working here is, Jakob said, “Making a positive impact on others and learning something new every day.”

A self-proclaimed “good book” nerd, Ashley grew up in East End, AR and graduated from high school in Sheridan, AR where she ran hurdles for the track team. She loves spending time with her family, reading books, and listening to any kind of music except old country. If she had to eat one meal for the rest of her life it would be chicken alfredo or pizza but she also can’t resist a bowl of ice cream! Her favorite state to travel to is Florida and says about working for Lonoke Physical Therapy, “I like helping people but I LOVE meeting all the new patients!”

A native of Lonoke, Becky has over 30 years of medical experience. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage or billing concerns, she’s always happy to assist. Becky loves to spend time with her grandkids and hang out in her backyard in her free time. Her favorite vacation destination is Panama City Beach, FL. If she had to choose just one meal to eat for the rest of her life, she would have to go with steak and shrimp. Her favorite quote? “Oh well!” Becky’s top three life highlights include the day each of her grandkids were born, Michael, Jodi, and Bryce. Her favorite part about working at Lonoke Physical Therapy? Great coworkers!
