Evelyn’s Peach Cobbler

2 (20oz) sliced peaches
5 slices of bread
1 ½ cup sugar
1 stick melted butter
2 tablespoons of flour
1 egg

Drain peaches and reserve ½ cup juice. Remove crust from bread and slice each piece in 5 strips

Put drained peaches and reserved juice in pan. Layer bread over peaches.

Mix sugar, butter, flour, and egg. Pour mixture over peaches and bread.

Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
