Ingredients:
1lb butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
4 cups cake flour
1/4 cup sweet milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon lemon extract or another flavoring
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time alternately with flour, milk, vanilla, and lemon extract. Bake in greased floured 10-inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 90 minutes or longer.
