Judy’s Rice Dish

½ stick of butter, melted
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can beef bullion/broth
Slivered almonds
Water, garlic salt, pepper

Melt ½ stick of butter and saute’ one medium-sized onion and one bell pepper until softened. In a casserole dish, add 1 cup uncooked rice, 1 can beef bullion broth and one can water, garlic salt, and pepper to taste. Cover with foil. Cook at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover and top with slivered almonds and return to the oven for 15 minutes uncovered. Total cooking time 1 hour.
