Ingredients:
3/4 – 1lb hamburger meat
1/2 green pepper, diced
1/2 onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 tablespoon bacon drippings
1 cup uncooked rice
2 can beef consomme
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cumin seed
Directions:
Saute onion, pepper, and meat in dripping. Add rice and stir until a little brown. Add consomme, Worcestershire sauce, salt and cumin seed. Cover with tight-fitting lid after it comes to a boil. Turn on low and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
I start this in a skillet then put in a large 2-quart pan to cook.
